Short Bio:
Özgür Önal was born in 1978 in İzmir. He has an interdisciplinary professional path merging technology, design and Jungian Studies. He holds a Master of Design degree (2006) in Industrial Product Design from Izmir Institute of Technology with the thesis research in the field of “Human Centered Design” and BSc. degree in Computer Science (2001) from Dokuz Eylul University. He has more than 15 years of experience across different industries. He has lectured in Visual Communication Design Department of İzmir University of Economics. As a researcher and academic, he specializes on Jungian Studies, symbology and archetypal studies which have practical connections to game design, narrative arts, facilitation and collaborative team practices. Also his photography and videography works under Getty Images Creative collections has been sold and used by many media agencies around the world. Currently, He gives "Psychology for Game Design" course in Digital Game Design Department of Bahçeşehir University.
